As a new addition to this series, the Free Built-in® Upright Fridge & Upright Freezer Pair offers consumers greater flexibility in organizing and storing food. Its modular design allows additional units to be combined over time, thanks to its Free Combination capability, making it easier to adapt storage capacity for larger families, frequent entertaining, or seasonal grocery needs. Unlike conventional upright fridges that require wider side clearances, it uses Bottom Heat Dissipation, allowing for less reserved space for installation in modern kitchens. Inside, Ultra Space architecture increases internal capacity without requiring additional kitchen space. 

The upright fridge features a Fresh Box with Humidity Slider, which is a large drawer for fruits and vegetables that can adjust humidity according to the type of food being stored to preserve it. Metal Cool technology gives a +15%[4] increase in cooling efficiency compared to standard back panels on fridges, so food stays cold and at a continuous temperature to keep it fresher for longer.
